Fleet Decommissioning

Fleet Decommissioning

Retire government and agency vehicles cleanly: equipment removed and vehicles ready for the next step.

What we remove

Complete strip-out of emergency and special-purpose equipment.

Lights & sirens

Light bars, grille and surface lights, sirens, speakers and controllers removed without leftover wiring.

Consoles & mounts

Consoles, laptop and radio mounts, and cages, partitions and gun mounts taken out.

Radios & electronics

Radios, antennas, cameras and other agency electronics removed.

Graphics & markings

Decals, striping and agency markings removed, so the vehicle no longer looks like an agency unit.

Leave it clean

Return the vehicle to a sale-ready condition.

Holes & cutouts repaired

Roof, dash and body holes from removed equipment sealed and patched.

Wiring removed

Power, ground and switch wiring cleanly removed or safely capped.

Interior restored

Panels, headliners and carpet cleaned up where equipment was mounted.

Final check

Each vehicle inspected and signed off before it leaves.

Recycled, not trashed

Removed equipment is recycled, so retiring a fleet does not mean filling a dumpster.

Metal recycled

Steel and aluminum from cages, partitions and mounts goes to recycling.

Electronics recycled

Lights, sirens, radios and other electronics are recycled.

Wiring recycled

Copper wiring pulled from each vehicle is recycled.

Less landfill

Less equipment and waste going to the landfill.

Built for fleets

Government and agency fleets, big and small.

Batch scheduling

Decommission many vehicles at once to limit downtime and handling. Request a quote for your fleet.

Drop-off or on-site

Bring vehicles to Lorton and fill out the drop-off form for each one, or ask about on-site work.

Federal and state purchasing

We are registered on SAM.gov and available through GSA. Ask about your purchasing vehicle, or Request a quote.

Replace and upfit

Retire old units and outfit the replacements in the same visit. Request a quote.

Disposal and surplus rules differ by agency and jurisdiction. We follow your fleet policy and paperwork for each vehicle.

Start a drop-off

Fill out the form for each vehicle so we can log it.
